  Memorial Day Weekend

      Day 1-    We started at the shop and took the long way out to the PA Grand Canyon on Route 6.          

Dave, Alex and I stopped at a rest stop and supported the local Boy Scout Troop by buying snacks and coffee. 

We went to a diner for lunch.  Nice people in Williamsport, PA. 

Stopped at Horsepower Harley-Davidson! Even out there Dave attracts a crowd.

Finally, we wound up at the most awesome destination of the day...

The PA Grand Canyon, Leonard Harrison State Park!

Day 2 - On the Way to Lake George, NY. 

We stopped at a rest stop across from The Tioga Downs. The horses were trotting.

Alex took some great pictures along the road.

Then we got to our destination, checked into a hotel and got a good night's sleep.

Day 3 - At Lake George, NY.

 We walked around a bit to see the sites and learned alot of new things.

Then we took a ride along the scenic route 9N and stopped to take in the spectacular view.

 Rode up to Fort Ticonderoga and met Mark, the keeper, and Jane, his girlfriend. 

On the way back to the hotel, we found a beautiful waterfall in a park.

Day 4 - We rode home,  total miles on trip; 985!
